This Balance Sheet Treasury Analyst is a critical role for this bank, it is open due to an internal promotion and continued growth for the bank. In this role you will take your quantitative and qualitative skill set and thorough understanding of how banks make money and balance sheet management skills and work directly with the Treasury Risk Manager specifically on loan pricing and more fully building that functionality out at the bank. You will be tasked with working with large amounts of data, looking at customer behaviors, working with assumptions, comparing performance to budget, comparing pricing to competition, analyzing how the balance sheet moves and how it affects ratios, etc. As you work with the Treasury Risk Manager, you will take this data, regularly collaborate with the model validation team, then take your qualitative skills and present regularly to executive management. Strong communication skills and the ability to present in laymen’s terms is critical. (The initial focus will be loan pricing, longer term it will include deposit pricing.)
This key position reports directly to a very sharp Treasury Risk Manager. We are looking for either a strong banking treasury professional that loves modeling and overall balance sheet management and preferably has been doing this work at a DFAST or CCAR Bank. Your attention to detail, passion for your work, and being a communicative team player is going to be paramount to success in this role. If you are a QRM user having completed Level I, II, or III of the CFA that will demonstrate the type of aptitude and ownership of your career that our client is looking for.
